My ancient software archive
From 1995 to 1997, I maintained an archive of useful software, mostly utilities and Internet-related apps. After I stopped updating it, it stood there for ages until it became a valuable archive of vintage rare applications from the early mass Internet era. And so, if you're a retrocomputing fan interested in pre-Win98 PC stuff, here it is. Enjoy in particular the nice note on finding the right mirror according to whether you're a commercial or academic user - ah, those times!

Download the programs with a simple click on their names, or, with most of the browsers, by clicking with the right mouse button and selecting Save As. The speed of the connection should vary a lot; I can advise you to use the mirror on www.poli.studenti.to.it if you are connected from the US or a commercial access provider, and the mirror on www.polito.it if you come from an European University.
